Artist on the series: In my perception, green and blue are nearly the same - it is often difficult for me to distinguish between them at first glance. I assign them
a deep symbolic meaning: they represent everything that lies beyond me, everything external to my being. Blue above like the sky, green below like the earth. This is more than a reference to landscape. For me, it is a metaphor for the phenomena of the world: the places, situations, people, and emotions I encounter in reality.
These paintings record my interactions with the world; the ways I build relationships with that which is "not-me." They capture various moments of connection with external reality: with another person, a landscape, a movement, or an event.
Into these compositions of green and blue, I introduce beige - a sign of myself. This color is my trace, my entry into the image. The colors negotiate their boundaries, intertwining, sometimes competing, and at other times harmonizing. The surface of the canvas becomes a meeting point where I encounter the world.

Artystka o cyklu: W moim postrzeganiu zielony i niebieski to prawie ten sam kolor - często w pierwszym momencie trudno mi rozróżnić, czy coś jest zielone, czy niebieskie. Przypisuję im znaczenie symboliczne: reprezentują wszystko to, co znajduje się poza mną, co jest zewnętrzne wobec mojej osoby. Na górze niebieski jak niebo, na dole zielony. To nie tylko odniesienie do krajobrazu. Dla mnie to metafora ogółu zjawisk obecnych w świecie. To miejsca, sytuacje, ludzie, emocje - wszystko, z czym mogę się spotkać, funkcjonując w rzeczywistości.
Obrazy stanowią zapis moich interakcji ze światem; sposobów budowania relacji
z tym, co nie jest mną. To próba uchwycenia różnych momentów łączenia się
z rzeczywistością zewnętrzną: z drugim człowiekiem, z krajobrazem, z ruchem, ze zdarzeniem.
W tych kompozycjach do zieleni i błękitu dodaję beż - jako znak siebie. Ten kolor jest moim śladem, moim wejściem w obraz. Kolory negocjują swoje granice, przenikają się, czasem rywalizują, czasem harmonizują. Płaszczyzna płótna staje się miejscem spotkania między mną a światem.

The painting is a record of a state of deep conscious relaxation, in which the boundary between the individual and the environment becomes blurred. The beige spot –
a symbol of the artist's presence – loses its sharp edges, becoming a light, almost cloud-like form merging with the blue of the sky. It is a moment of safe "dissolution" in the world, a state of free energy devoid of anxiety.
The central point of the composition is a darker, organic form – the "spider," which is both a literal record of the artist's dreadlocks and a symbol of tamed fear. In this configuration, fear is no longer a paralyzing threat, but an integral and safe part of the "self." The work documents
a moment in which bodily awareness fades in favor of unity with the landscape, and what once sparked fear becomes }a stable core of one's own identity.

Obraz jest zapisem stanu głębokiego rozluźnienia świadomości, w którym granica między jednostką
a otoczeniem ulega zatarciu. Beżowa plama – symbol mojej obecności – traci swoje ostre krawędzie, stając się lekką, niemal obłoczną formą przenikającą się z błękitem nieba. To moment bezpiecznego „rozpuszczenia się”
w świecie, stan swobodnej energii pozbawionej niepokoju.
Centralnym punktem kompozycji staje się ciemniejsza, organiczna forma – autorski „pająk”, będący jednocześnie dosłownym zapisem splotu dredów artystki, jak i symbolem oswojonego lęku. W tej konfiguracji strach nie jest już paraliżującym zagrożeniem, lecz integralną i bezpieczną częścią „ja”. Obraz dokumentuje chwilę, w której świadomość ciała zanika na rzecz jedności z krajobrazem,
a to, co dawniej budziło lęk, staje się stabilnym jądrem własnej tożsamości.

The work is an intimate record of a perspective directed downwards – literally and symbolically grounded in the earth. The titular shoes, filling almost the entire canvas, become a tool of mediation between the artist and nature. Often transferring her painterly narrative onto her own clothing, the painter performs here an act of full symbiosis with the environment.
Within the holes of the shoes, a process of blurring the boundaries of the "self" is visible. The left side reveals
a beige trace of body presence, while the right transforms into a blue-green, abstract form. It is a painterly record of
a moment in which the ego gives way to a loose consciousness, and the sense of separation from the outside world vanishes. The boundary between the body and the grass becomes fluid, documenting a state of relaxation and the forgetting of one's own physicality.

Praca stanowi intymny zapis perspektywy skierowanej ku dołowi – dosłownie i symbolicznie osadzonej w podłożu. Tytułowe buty, wypełniające niemal całą płaszczyznę płótna, stają się narzędziem zapośredniczenia między artystką a naturą. Malarka, często przenosząc swoją malarską narrację na własny ubiór, dokonuje tutaj aktu pełnej symbiozy z otoczeniem.
W otworach butów widoczny jest proces zacierania się granic „ja”. Lewa strona ukazuje beżowy ślad cielesnej obecności, podczas gdy prawa przemienia się w błękitno-zieloną, abstrakcyjną formę. Jest to malarski zapis momentu, w którym ego ustępuje miejsca luźnej świadomości, a poczucie odrębności od świata zewnętrznego zanika. Granica między ciałem a trawą staje się płynna, dokumentując stan rozluźnienia i zapomnienia
o własnej fizyczności.

The starting point for this painting was a chance encounter of colors on Wyżniański Wierch in the Bieszczady Mountains. A moment when the purple of the artist's nails found its equivalent in the hue of encountered flowers. The work is an abstract record of this contact, treated as
a symbolic union with external reality.
On the canvas, the beige forms of hands intermingle with purple, creating a single, shared matter. The boundaries between the body and what lies beyond it are suspended. Vertical, dark green lines of stems provide the composition with structure, yet the primary subject remains the moment of touch, in which the "self" (beige) negotiates its presence with the totality of external phenomena.

Punktem wyjścia dla obrazu stało się przypadkowe spotkanie barwne na Wyżniańskim Wierchu
w Bieszczadach. Moment, w którym fioletowy kolor paznokci artystki odnalazł swój odpowiednik w barwie napotkanych kwiatów. Praca jest abstrakcyjnym zapisem tego styku, traktowanego jako symboliczne łączenie się
z rzeczywistością zewnętrzną.
Na płótnie beżowe formy rąk przenikają się z fioletem, tworząc jedną, wspólną materię. Granice między ciałem
a tym, co znajduje się poza nim, zostają zawieszone. Pionowe, ciemnozielone linie łodyg nadają kompozycji strukturę, jednak głównym tematem pozostaje moment dotyku, w którym „ja” (beż) negocjuje swoją obecność
z ogółem zjawisk świata zewnętrznego.

The work is a painterly analysis of a process in which reality beyond the individual constantly and independently of their will shapes its structure. Intense, almost neon strokes of green in the lower part of the painting play a particularly significant role here. They are a record of a direct external influence that intrudes into the beige form, determining its final shape. The painting documents the tension between the desire to maintain one's own integrity and the inevitable process of absorbing the surroundings, in which what is "external" becomes the foundation of what is "internal."

The work represents the most figurative point of the cycle, introducing a human figure set within a vast space. Although the silhouette (beige) is small in scale relative to the canvas, its relationship with the environment is based on the disappearance of hierarchy. The entire composition has been applied to a common beige background, which visually equates the person's presence with the matter of the world.
The painting documents a moment of losing individual identity in favor of a sense of being the whole of the surrounding space. The artist, as a "loose consciousness," ceases to define herself through the prism of human form and begins to feel unity with the landscape. The sun in the upper left corner completes this structure, becoming
a source of light for a reality in which the boundaries between the viewer and the viewed cease to exist.

The titular question introduces a theme of longing for an ideal relationship and a soulmate, suggesting that the explored by the artist colour blue can also become a trait of another person.
The composition is based on dynamic, almost violent brushstrokes that convey the intensity of emotional agitation. Beige traces of the artist's presence are entirely submerged in blues here, intermingling with them and yielding to their dominance. It is an image of joyful loss of self within space and color, where fascination with nature and the vision of love merge into a single experience. The work documents a moment in which the "self" (beige) actively and trustfully surrenders to its blue power.

In this composition, blue and navy, colors typically identified by the artist with the sky and freedom, are reduced to a purely physical sphere, representing an anonymous figure dressed in denim. The blurring of the silhouette and the introduction of a literal phallic symbol emphasize the objectified nature of these relationships and their complete lack of identity.
A bright green, nervous tangle of lines imposed on a dark background takes the form of a symbolic "bush." This is
a pictorial representation of the state of lurking and the ambiguous intentions of individuals appearing in the artist's life. Instead of a harmonious intermingling of colors, we are faced with tension and an attempt to decipher signals coming from the outside. The work documents a moment in which the external world (green and blue) is not a space of wonder, but an area of boundary negotiation in the face of someone else's expectations.

a clear trace of the artist's presence, here the color undergoes a fragmentation.
The beige matter of the "self" intermingles with shades of teal, green, and blue in a disordered and feverish manner. These colors tangle with one another, making it impossible to define a clear boundary between what is internal and what is external. The painting documents the process of searching for one's own form amidst a thicket of overlapping relationships and situations, becoming a record of pure, as yet undirected consciousness attempting to determine its position in relation to the world.
